How your info is handled

What I collect

Contact details you give me directly — name, phone number, email — when you fill out a form on this site, message me on WhatsApp, reach out on Instagram, or we meet in person. If you save a calculator result on /invest, /timing, /amiready, or another hub, the inputs you typed are saved to your account so you can come back to them.

Standard hosting logs from Vercel (IP address, user-agent, request time) retained for security and uptime reasons.

What I don't collect

No Google Analytics. No Facebook Pixel. No third-party tracking scripts. No cross-site cookies. The only cookies set are the functional ones Next.js uses to keep you signed in if you chose to save a calculator result.

How it's used

To actually help you with real estate — answering your questions, sending market updates you asked for, scheduling, paperwork when a transaction starts. Occasional monthly check-ins only if you've asked to be on the list.

Never shared for marketing

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

SMS opt-in data, phone numbers, and consent will not be sold, rented, or transferred to any external organization under any circumstances, including with user consent, except where strictly required by law.

Legal exceptions: court order, regulator request from RECO, or tax authority request. Separately, if you explicitly ask me to introduce you to a mortgage broker or lawyer for a transaction you're working on, I'll share only the minimum needed to make that introduction.

SMS messaging

If you've given me your phone number and opted in, you may receive SMS messages about:

• Real estate inquiries you've started with me
• Scheduling — showings, meetings, phone calls
• Transaction paperwork when a deal is active
• Market updates you specifically asked for
• Occasional monthly check-ins, if you're on that list

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Opting in to SMS is never required to work with me — WhatsApp, email, or phone all work too.

How your information is protected

Internal access controls and safeguards are in place to prevent unauthorized sharing of personal data. Access to contact records is limited to me and, where explicitly authorized, a qualified assistant working under my brokerage's compliance rules. Authentication systems, encrypted credentials, and rate limits are used on the website and CRM. Information you save on ayomac.com is stored on infrastructure that uses industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit.

Your opt-out

Any of the following stops further messages within 24 hours. I'll confirm.

• Reply STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE on any SMS
• Reply HELP on any SMS to reach me
• Reply STOP on any WhatsApp message
• Email ayo@ayomac.com with the word “unsubscribe”
• Call 519-266-6868

You can also delete your ayomac.com account (and the calculator results saved with it) anytime by emailing the address above.

Data retention

Contact details are kept while we're actively in touch and for up to 6 years after our last exchange — the record-retention period RECO requires for realtor client files. Hosting logs are kept for 30 days. Saved calculator results are kept until you delete them or delete your account.

Your rights under PIPEDA

Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) gives you the right to:

• See what personal information I hold about you
• Correct anything that's wrong
• Withdraw consent (see opt-out above)
• Complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada
